What Causes Chronic Cough While Using Asthma Inhaler?
Hi, my daughter has had a chronic ongoing cough for about 12 months. She has had exrays, scans, blood tests, been on asthma inhalers the list goes on but still no relief. My daughter now has to have her gallbladder out, could the continual chronic cough be associated to this? We are desperate for answers, please help.

Your child having chronic cough for which x ray and blood tests has been done
Here spirometry has to be done to assess severity of asthma based on which further management guided
According to severity maintainance inhaler dose decided ex. For foracort inhaler pump
Your cough mostly from asthma itself
If needed allergy testing for that can be done
Auscultation also will guide further
Hence consult pulmonologoist for examination and further work up
Take care
