What Causes Chronic Cough With Phlegm?
Hi Dr, I am a 27 year old women. No surgeries, , but prone to getting sick mre than average. I am allegic to pollen and soy. I have had a producive cough for about 3weeks now. I think it might be bronchitis. I had it when i was a kid. I am coughing up mucus that is white, and a bit thick. I feel like my chest is heavy, but overall I feel like myself... Any idea what this might be

Productive cough persisting for 3 weeks definitely needs investigation to find out the cause. As you mentioned, this can suggest bronchitis, but we have to consider other causes as well (tuberculosis, allergy). Kindly discuss with your doctor. You may be asked for a blood routine and chest X-ray.
