Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My brother, who is 50 over weight, pace maker, works 70-80 hours a week recently developed a hacking cough, started feeling bad. Thought it was a virus since its really going around in various forms and lingering. He s sleeping a lot but not getting better. Went to ER, they said he has fluid on his lungs but its not a virus or pneumonia. Said there was also scarring on his lungs. Gave him a week s worth of steriods and a follow up in late January for a biopsy. Thoughts?
