What Causes Chronic Diarrhea Along With Anorexia And Weight Loss?
For an assessment. patient with chronic diarrohea, anorexia contributing with weight loss and abdominal Pain. My patient has elevated esr and C-reactive protein, FBC and liver tests all normal. Has about 6-7 bowel movement a day. Young fellow, diet regime not good, as he is young chef, so he grazes thru the day. He does smoke 1 pack a day with 3-4 coffees as well. Not good.

The symptoms seem to be related to anorexia. I suggest a visit to a psychiatrist to get evaluated. Also talking therapy is very effective. Meanwhile, I suggest eating healthy and sleeping well. A supervised weight gain is very important.
