Understanding your concern. As per your query you have chronic diarrhea and intermittent fever which is because of severe viral infection/upper respiratory tract infection/sinusitis. I would suggest take diet rich in fruits rich in vitamin C as it will boost his immunity. You should start with course of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs. Giving warm chicken soup and lemon tea is very useful for this. Do warm saline gargles 3-4 times a day with lukewarm water. Avoid giving cold beverages. Take diet rich in probiotics. Steam inhalation is another treatment option for resolving it. If symptoms keeps on persisting visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start proper course of antibiotics. Go for complete blood count and platelet count to rule out any hidden systemic pathology.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
