What Causes Chronic Diarrhea And Nausea?

I m 50 years old. For the past 10 years I have battled with diarrhea which will occur in the morning after I drink or after lunch. The diarrhea occurs as soon as I eat lunch. It begins like constipation then full blown diarrhea. I feel really hot during these episodes and then I m nauseated. I stopped drinking coffee and coke and it helped. I started taking probiotics in January and found I had fewer episodes. I ve had two episodes within the past two weeks.

You are having on and off diarrhea and constipation since many years. ...

You are feeling flushing also ...

So here hyperthyroid should be ruled out ...
It can lead such presentation...For which thyroid profile has to be done ...

Second as having chronic diarrhea by ELISA also rule out HIV...

Here stool culture , USG investigation done for further work up...
According to culture report drugs given if needed ...

If still needed endoscopy done for further work up.

After such investigation if no cause found than it could be functional bowel problem if you are taking stress ....
