What Causes Chronic Diarrhea, Fever And Stomachache In A Child?

My granddaughter has been having stomach aches for a couple years now. She is continually getting sick with fevers and diarrhea. My daughter has taken her to the hospital several times, but they keep saying it's normal at her age. She is six years old. I've never heard that stomach aches and also when she gets the fevers she passes severe smelling gas how can that be normal. What or where do we get the answers we need.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you chronic diarrhea, fever and stomachache. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query constipation , food allergy or intolerance , acid reflux , food poisoning , strep throat or inflammatory bowel disease. I would suggest you to consult pediatrician for proper examination . Doctor may order stool test , allergy test along with taking history . Doctor may as you to avoid certain foods , which can cause allergy or intolerable , doctor may also prescribe omeprazole , ornidazole along with anti inflammatory . For now do now eat heavy , eat small and frequent meals.
