What Causes Chronic Diarrhea?

Hi, I m 48yo white male with chronic diaheria (about 10 weeks). I have had a stool sample conducted and there is no infection. I have no pain, blood or wait loss/gain everything is normal. I have a scheduled colonoscopy and upper endoscopy in a couple weeks. Should I be doing something else? Based on statistics how concerned should I be (I m pretty nervous right now)?
