Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Chronic Dizziness, Nausea, Weakness, Hypersomnia And Itchy Rashes On Chest?
Hi I have been chronically dizzy, nauseous, weak, sleeping really badly for about 2 months,(sleep is variable but not great) and now have an itchy chicken pox like rash (no blisters) on my chest and less so on my back- I have seen a gp and had an exhaustive-(everything) array of blood tests and my heart has been checked- ECG. All ok? I am anxious and depressed and tried escalitopram 3 weeks ago and became so very ill with it and had an acute exaggeration of the aformentioned symptoms.( was as sick as a dog) I stopped it after a week,3 weeks ago. Any ideas? I am wondering if I have had an unusual form of Chicken pox- no flu like symptoms ie throat or runny nose. My weight is normal- slim- I am 6 2 approx. My bloodpressure is normal to low.
I am sorry for your situation. First if your GP has not thought about chicken pox after has examined you than no worries you do not have it.In my opinion also according to the history you provide these are no signs of chicken pox. Second i think you should not have stopped the treatment of depression because it takes 2-3 months to give effect. Please consult your treating doctor for this.
Regards
Dr.Jolanda
