What Causes Chronic Elevated Body Temperature?

I am 38 years old female, working in a software organization. My palm and feet surface is always very hot, my body temperature is also higher than normal. I had done test for sugar, thyroid on March, 2015. The sugar level on fasting was 110, thyroid level was 3.83. My blood pressure is also normal. Vit-D3 was 17. Sometimes I feel the problem of acidity & gas formation. What is the reason behind my hot body temperature & hot palm & feet?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The feeling of temperature in the feet and hands can be related to a peripheral nerve. I suggest to try a prescription painkiller such as Gabapentin for relieve. If the symptoms continue, I suggest to consult a neurologist for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
