What Causes Chronic Fatigue While Having Lyme Disease?

I have a daughter who has chronic fatigue plus an active lymes disease. Who is a borderline hoarder who uses her fatigue as an excuse not to clean up her piles of stuff. I have offered and she resists any help. Her husband is too easy going to put his foot down. Any suggestions?

Hello,

Since your daughter is suffering from active Lyme disease, get her treated. Lyme disease can be treated successfully with the help of oral or intravenous antibiotics.

It can be treated in 2-3 weeks. Persistent symptoms may occur only in those patients who are prone to autoimmune disease.

Fatigue is a symptom of lyme disease but when treated properly symptoms of fatigue go away. Help your daughter come out of sedentary lifestyle, help her get more active.

You can get her tested for autoimmune diseases & chronic fatigue syndrome.

Help her stay away from addictions if any. Let her do regular exercises.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
