What Causes Chronic Foot Pain?

I m having chronic foot pain, for the past two months, after walking/running 5 miles in what I think we re the wrong type of shoes and also after standing on my feet for 4 to 5 hours working at a grocery store. I guess I m wondering if that s why my feet is still feeling this way of if it could be something else going on!
