What Causes Chronic Headache Along With Tinnitus?

HI , I am asking for my person who has been having chronic headaches, tinnitus( right ear mainly), swelling at his cranial suture lines, and pain above his eyes for several months now. Although Drs say he has allergies and -by scope- say that he has no polyps , they have done no allergy testing, cultures, and minimal bloodwork. He has done several rounds of first-line antibiotics without help. His is CT looks clean , but his MRI shows polypoidal mucosal thickening R L. I am frustrated and he is still in pain. What can be done?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist, better to consult a neurologist and plan for an MRI brain to rule out possible intracranial (inside the brain) causes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
