What Causes Chronic Headache,fever,chills And Body Pain?

I am 67 yo female diabetic, have had fever to 102 x 7 days, chills, n+v, body aches, horrible headaches. Was seen in er c/o DMII, n+v, fever, body aches by a pa. After minimal. Exam w/ no belly palp or kidney bump, pa wanted UA...I told him it would be junky be cause I was dehydrated. Think lab took one look and said UTI,put on Gantrisin x5 xdays. This is 4th day and I an no better. Any thoughts or suggestions???

as you are diabetc and having fever for 7days , my advise is to admit nearest hospital. i am worrying weather you have an infection in kidneys which is called pyelonephritis. may need to ultra sound scan of abdomen with blood and urine investigatons. you may need antibiotics in injection forms to cure your infection.
