What Causes Chronic Heaviness In Head With Dry Mouth And Nasal Drip?

I have major pressure in my nose/head area, and is constantly congested, have watery eyes, dry mouth, and a major runny nose. I know these are common allergy symptoms, but I never have allergies and it is a constant thing for about 2 months. I was wondering could this be a sinus infection? 19/5 7/190lbs/hypothyroidism

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear Patient,

yes this can be a sinus infection. This can usually be treated with nasal spray like xylometazoline, steam inhalation, and nasal douche. If it doesn't get better your local md can perscribe you an antibiotic also. If this happens more often or doesnt get away it is advisable to see an hno doctor to rule out possible causes like nasal polyps. Also allergies should be ruled out by a skin test, since they can develop over time for some people. Hope this is helping you , if you have any clarificatons you can get back to me, if this was helpful please kindly rate my answer. Best regards
