What Causes Chronic Leakage In Esophageal Tracheal Fistula Repair Patients?
My father is a esophageal-tracheo fistula repair patient who is experiencing a chronic leakage from the drain wound at the top front of his chest...what type of doctor should we see for options to correct? Can this be corrected. I would assume the leak is from somewhere. To add, this is over a year now and my father is also an esophaeal cancer survivor (2001)
hello, thanks for your query, esophageal-tracheal fistula of 1year, need to be corrected. in my opinion you need to too see an onco-surgeon who are specialised in doing larynx or thyroid cancer surgery, they deal with this problem. hope i have answered your query. all the best. take care.
