What Causes Chronic Lower Abdominal Cramps And Diarrhea?
I am a 59 year old female. I woke two days ago in the middle of the night with sever lower cramps and then had diarrhea. Had two bouts in an hour and then again two times each three hours apart. Cramps continued quite bad all day. I have no stomach issues at all. Next night same thing two bouts of diarrhea and then none the next day, but cramps continue. Today just cramps all day, so I now havent had a bowel movement in a little over 24 hours. low intestinal cramps continue, today with some gas. No fever. I just went to the store and bought a pill for gas, ( I feel like I have gas, but hard to pass), and a probiotic pill for the colon, which I haven t taken yet.

it can be colitis or chronic amoebiosis. go for stool examination. take norfloxacine with tinidazole, or a course of metrogyl.
