What Causes Chronic Nausea Over Long Duration?
I m a 62 y/ o female who has been experiencing chronic nausea (no GB) for several yrs. For this reason , I had a upr endoscopy about 18 months ago that showed mild gastritis and a small sliding herni, mild GERD. Before my two week F/u for the endo I started to develop constant burping. The burping ( at times it can be constant ... Every 3-4 seconds for 2-3 hrs at a time. The nausea persists. I did have a negative gastric emptying study. I had a positive SBIO test that was treated with Abx. I am taking Pepcid 2xday and Galveston....this seems to help a bit. Was on ppo s it but was told never to take them again as they can cause this SBIO. Quality of life is poor. Can make it to work but very little else.

I really appreciate your concern and looking to the history given here I could say that this condition need to be treated with "Tab Chlorpromazine" three times in day this could be functional condition and this would come around later or sooner, hope this information helps you, have a nice day
