General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You have a history Arnold Chiari & chronic neck pain. Chronic neck pain commonly occurs due to poor posture, neck strain, triggered by tension headache, spinal stenosis, cervical spondylosis, degenerated disc, spinal stenosis, OA.

I suggest you get physically examined by a GP, to rule out any swelling or lumps & get all tests & investigations (X-ray, CT, MRI, EMG, NCV) done to detect the factor causing you the discomfort.

Your treatment will depend upon the pathology detected.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
