What Causes Chronic Pain In The Heels?

I am having a lot of pain in both of my heels. The pain is worse in the morning when I get out of bed. I had this year s ago and did some stretching exercising and the pain went away. That is not helping much this time. Do you have any suggestions?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern

I think it is due to planter fasciitis.
The plantar fascia ligament is like a rubber and support in walking and running. It also absorbs significant weight and pressure.
Most common aggravating factors are overload of physical activity or exercise.
Take following advises:
Give your feet a rest.
Do not run on the hard surface.
Try not to walk or run on hard surfaces.
Take DAN-SR three times a day for next 7 days along with ranitidine.
Soak your leg in the warm water with added normal salt
Do stretching exercise like toe, calf and thigh stretching exercise.
Try heel cups or shoe orthotics and good supportive shoes.
If not resolves then local steroid injection should be used
Hope this may help you

Wishing you good health
