What Causes Chronic Pain In The Knees And Headaches?

My nine year old son has been having chronic pain in knees- especially left knee, which is swollen and warm. he has been having persistent headaches and nausea. He seems to be hypersensitive to noise and touches. This has been going on for over a month. he limps and cries every day. he had a negative lyme test about three weeks ago and was just physically checked by an orthopedic doc. Nothing has improved.

Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hi,

In my opinion, you should take him to the hospital and get done x-ray of the affected knee joint. If the fluid is there then he may need to the aspirated fluid. The possibility of infection in the knee joint is more likely.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
