However my pain has become chronic, and I now get sharp pains at the same spot in the lumbar area, and my neck is sore and i have shooting pains at times in my ear drum and down my arm. Seems like a lot. It is all on the right side. I am swollen later in the day, burning sensation in my legs, my right foot is always on fire......any ideas. Im at the end of my rope............
General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi,
Your problem can be due to lumbo sacral spinal disc problems. Herniation or desiccation of this can cause problems like nerve compression syndromes. This can give lower back ache and pain or burning sensation towards legs. Muscle relaxants like Tizanidine, NSAIDs like Aceclofenac and Neurotropics drugs like Pregabalin will be helpful for this. Physiotherapy and muscle strengthening exercises should be done along with this also.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear and if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Nishad BN
