What Causes Chronic Pain Near The Heel Of The Foot?

Hi, I have a pain that hurts when I walk on the bottom of my foot in the heal area. It is located about 2 inches from the heal. Really sensitive when I wake up and try to walk. Don t remember any trauma to the area at all. I am a 75yr old male very active.

Thanks for posting on health magic
As you have mentioned pain around heel in morning may be associated with osteoporosis
As it is very common in older age groups
Try calcium and vitamin D3
Thanks
