Yes, please. All the people on this blog or whatever it is are complaining of sharp left side pain when they try to take a deep breath. Many say they have had these symptoms for years. I myself have had this for years. Ever since I was a teenager. It usually goes away if I make myself take a VERY painfully deep breath. However, last night I couldn t do that - it hurt too much. And it did not go away until I went to bed. Any ideas what causes this?
In my opinion, you may be having costochondritis - inflammation at the rib joint with the sternum. This is called Tietze Syndrome and is very common. Normally we prescribe painkillers and local heat therapy for this condition, failing which, we might decide about local steroid injection.
