What Causes Chronic Sore Throat Along With Difficulty In Swallowing?
I have been having a chronic sore throat...I start out in the morning with little to no pain but by 3pm my throat starts hurting and and by bedtime it is difficult to swallow. Has lasted about 3 weeks now...It moves from one side of the throat to the other which i also find strange...I had a doctor friend of mine look at in a non professional capacity and he said he didn t believe it was strep because there was no white bumps or anything just throat irritation and swelling..

Your symptoms seem to be related to tonsillitis. I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to relieve the inflammation. I also suggest using a throat spray.
