What Causes Chronic Swelling In Lymph Node?

Hi there doctor! My 3 year old son has a swollen lymph node for like a year now, our doc sId before that it was just normal, but now he's referring us to a specialist. But he said that he thinks theres nothing wrong but he just wanna make sure. My son is healthy, eating good, hes active. Do u think theres something wrong why the doc reffered us to a specialist? I am just so worried and scared.

hello, thanks for your query, lymphnode swelling at 3 yrs could be due to ent infections like tonsillitis, adenoiditis, ear infections or tuberculous lymphadenitis or lymphnode enlargement secondary to some growth . kindly visit an Ent surgeon for evaluation and treatment. all the best. take care.
