What Causes Chronic Vomiting Followed By Hallucination And Headaches?

Hey, I have a question wondering if I was in danger of anything life threatening yesterday. Yesterday morning at 5am I woke up and throwup, then I fell asleep and woke up at 6am and threw up, this cycle continued every 30-60 mins until 7:30, I then went in to my mum s room and I had to lay down there, I threwup in a basin/the toilet every 30-60 mins again until 9, when I wokeup at 9 I went downstairs and was extremely weak and had to lay down on the sofa. I then threwup in a basin every 30 mins and felt extremely sick the WHOLE DAY, at one point I just wanted to die. I tried drinking water but I threwup it, I tried coke and water (my mum went down to the chemist’s and they advised it) then I threw it up too, then I went upstairs again and fell asleep with my electric blanket on for a good hour. Overall I threwup around 20-25 times and ended up throwing up the lining in the stomach (bile) half of the time. My mother said my face was so pale that even my lips were white and I also had an extreme temperature which I felt faintish from. I also had around 10 hallucinations throughout the day and extremely weak limbs, resulting in the inability to even sit up without assistance. I also had quite bad headaches and felt nauseous for the whole day.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The symptoms you are experiencing is due to vomiting several times in a day, which reduces the levels of electrolytes in body and cause such symptoms. Take antiemetic, like Ondansetron mouth dissolving tablet with lots of fluid orally, if possible. If you can't take oral liquids, then take more fluids as soon as possible to avoid dehydration. Take over the counter Rx for headache, like Pcm. If it becomes severe, then do consult physician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
