What Causes Chronic Vomiting In A Toddler?

3 year old grand daughter was vomiting several times on Friday, yesterday played outside and ate some but no vomiting. This morning at 5:30 she woke up vomiting and had had two very foul smelling soft yellowish bowel movements. Cries her belly hurts .

I can certainly understand your concern.
I have worked through your query in detail.

The frequent vomiting that your grand daughter is suffering could be due to some infected food or probably some infection. nothing to worry much as it is common in children in this age group .

I would advise you to let her take plenty of fluids, ORS( oral rehydration solution), coconut water, and some rice pour even she is vomiting continuously . Because it is very important to replenish her body fluids in this case to prevent any unwanted effects of dehydration.

And start on some domperidone and metronidazole syrup to control her infection
