What Causes Chronic Wrist Pain?

i have chronic wrist pain...since june. 4 doctors had 4 different possibilities. xray #1 showed nothing..xray #2 shawed what the doc thought to be a bone spur. I am still waiting to be seen by an ortho. Can the wrist have been fractured? the joint has been enlarged from the get go.
