General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Circular rashes occurring in different parts of the arms, face & neck are commonly due to fungal infections, Tinea cruris (Jock Itch). It commonly occurs in patients who are diabetic, obese or are immuno-compromised due to chronic illness & diseases.

She should get clinically examined. She needs a course of oral anti-fungal medicines. She can apply anti-fungal ointments (Lamisil) in the area affected. She needs to wear loose fitting cotton clothes. Take regular showers with soap & keep body dry(with anti-fungal powder). Take medicines after being clinically assessed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
