What Causes Circumvallate Papillae?

I'm 16 and I may have circumvallate papillae. I've done some research and viewed some images of what it looks like and it looks very similar to what I have. My question is how does this happen -like getting them and such- and if there's any way to get rid of them.

Hi
With your query, circumvallate papillae are the large among all the other papillae and located at the posterior most part of tongue. They form by birth during the embryonic stages itself and one cannot get rid off these unless as an anamoly or defect. Hope this helps you.
