What Causes Clay-colored Stool In An Otherwise Healthy Person?

I have been drinking a large glass of warm water, gelatin, a bit of green tea, fresh lemon and a squirt of honey. I got the idea for this from a friend. It has been such a good thing as I work very long hours and am running around all day. I take a few sips of it when my stomach is empty and I have had good energy. But now my stool is clay colored. Not sure what to think about that. Perhaps it does not mean anything?

Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern.
If you have yellow discoloration of eyes, pain in RUQ of abdomen and itching then clay colored stool signifies bile duct obstruction.
in the absence of these symptoms it is not significant.
Fat malabsorption due to increase fibre intake can also cause clay colored stool.
Don't be worried.
Just note the above symptoms.
Hope it helps best.
