What Causes Clear Stringy Eye Discharge?
I have a lot of clear gunk in my eyes that catch in the corner of my eyes. This happens every day all day long and has been happening since I can remember. I always grab the gunk and pull it out of the corner of my eye and it comes out stringy. Why do I have this problem?

This can be chronic infection of conjunctiva. this needs an examination by eye doctor. it can be dry eye , infection in nasolacrimal duct, or blepharitis. once it is diagnosed specific treatment can be recommended in the mean time maintain hygiene of face and eye. clean the eye with sterile swab. apply refresh tear eye drop daily. .
