What Causes Clear Whitish Mucus Discharge Post Urination During Pregnancy?

I am currently 40 weeks and 3 days pregnant, really just waiting for some kind of movement towards labor. As of the 4th, I was 2.5 cm, 70% effaced and at station -2. So there is movement. However I am curious about some vaginal discharge I have had today. When I awoke at about 10:30 am (PST) I had vaginal discharge with my urination. It was thick, like a clear mucus, with what looked like white spots inside of it. Slightly sweet smelling. Then after some light intercourse, I did not climax, I urinated again, and found that there was a glob of a white mucus in the toilet. It looked almost like wax. Not pink or bloody, no spotting. Wiped discharge was clear. Is that my mucus plug??

hi, the White mucus discharge in your case can be show which is the expulsion of the mucus plug which occurs before the onset of labour .you should be going in to active labour in a day or two . take care and all the best .
