Hi,
Noted your history about painful knees and painful urination.
The you have put in the information you really need to go for the following:
Clinical evaluation, examination and investigations for both the conditions separately.
First of all, consult your primary Physician and thus get preliminary diagnosis to be supported by following investigations:
Blood for CBC to see for infection, RA factor for knee problem and other investigations for
diabetes, liver,
kidney and
thyroid functions.
Tests of Urine for routine, microscopy, culture and sensitivity.
Ultrasonography of abdomen, particularly for genitourinary system.
MRI of the knee joints.
All this will lead to a proper diagnosis of both the conditions and thus allow a proper management with appropriate antibiotics, anti-inflammatory and supportive medications.
If needed then a Specialist's opinion say by an
Urologist, Orthopedic Surgeon will help for further management as per the conditions diagnosed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant,
General Surgeon
