Hi I have osteo arthritis in my knees had 2 total knee replacements. My first knee was done in 2011 the other was 2012. I have had some back issues for some time now which has limited my mobility. My question is why are my knees making clicking noises if I had them replaced? Both knees are making this noise

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your experience with noisy clicking sounds at both knees after total knee replacement surgery i am suggesting strongly that this is due to the implant rubbing with the bones

So it is never a thing to panic except when there is pain then you can see your physician for further clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription

I hope this helps Regards
