What Causes Clicking Sound In Elbow Followed By Persistent Pain?

I have very localised elbow pain on the top side of my elboe which started three months ago when I was playing golf and I felt a click in my elbow. I did not do anything but it has got worse and it is very niggly. It now hurts at night and has got worse

hi, i do care for your concern.
your history suggest more of pulled elbow.
In that case have adequate rest wilt immobilization will ease your symptom.
i would advise
To consult an ortho doctor and get an X-ray done, and follow up with splint for immobilization.
