What Causes Clod Chest Feeling?
I took .5 mg of Ativan today at 345pm... now im up with what feels like a bad chest cold or slight respiratory ailment that came on pretty quickly... I was in the ER in September for a panic attack and they gave me a big enough dose of Ativan that I passed out almost right away (my heart rate was through the roof). Is what Im experiencing normal when taking Ativan? When I was in the hospital I don t recall having this happen with the large dose they gave me... what could be the cause of this chest cold-like thing I have right now?

In my opinion you are having psychological symptom of cold chest.
As there is no cause for isolated cold chest.
If you have hypothermia then whole body will be cold, not only chest.
If you have fever then whole body will be hot on touch.
So your symptom of cold chest is most probably due to psychological problem.
You also had panic attacks in past, this also favors psychiatric cause.
So better to consult psychiatrist and discuss your problems.
