What Causes Clogged Ears After Cleaning With Q-tip?

I was cleaning my ear using peroxide. Soon after to get the remaining wax I used a q-tip. I believe I went to far because when I took the q- tip out my ear there was blood on it. Now my ear is clogged and I have have a slight ringing in my ear. Currently I have now pain in it. Is this something I need to get checked right away or will it unclog itself?

Hi

Yes, you need to get it checked at the earliest. You may have injured the ear drum which is why there was bleeding as well as clogging of your ear. this is of course the worse case scenario and we can only rule it out after a doctors examination, so please do schedule one up.

Best wishes
