What Causes Clogged Ears, Tinnitus And Nausea?
My left ear started feeling plugged 6 days ago, sounds are distorted, low roaring sound, squeeking sound with certain words and mild nasea. I started taking Zrtex, Nasonex spray and nasel rinse plus Advil congestion but haven t gotten any relief. Any idea of what is going on?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have clogged ears, tinnitus and nausea. Tinnitus isn't a condition itself but it's a symptom of an underlying condition, such as age-related hearing loss, ear injury or a circulatory system disorder. Simple reasons like stress and anxiety can also cause tinnitus and headaches. Sometimes tinnitus along with headache also represent conditions like acoustic neuroma and meniere's disease. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination and to find out exact cause . Doctor may order certain tests like audiological test , rushing test , high and low pitched test . Doctor may prescribe tricyclic antidepressants , alprazolam and devices like hearing aids and masking devices .
