What Causes Clotted And Black Periods With Foul Odor After Childbirth?

I gave birth 4.5 months ago naturally and i only breastfed for 3 weeks...every period i've has since then has been extremly clotted and black..it has a foul odor just like lochia..my ovarys hurt soo bad while im on a period and ive been taking yaz since 6 weeks post partum...are there certain things a dr can do or is this just normal?
