What Causes Clotty Bleeding Post Intercourse?

I've been sexually active for about 6 months now and the past couple months every time I have sex I bleed afterwards. And not just a little, I have some large clots. It's embarrassing but usually it stays contained until I pee. I'm not sure what to do about it or what doctor too see or if I even need to see a doctor

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hi,
I understand our concern.
post intercourse bleeding needs to be attaineded soon. It can be from cervix-( STD like gonorrhea/chalamydia/ Ca. cervix ) or cervical polyp or from lining of uterus ( infection , uterine fibriod)
In addition to the problems due to causative factors, bleeding leads to anemia. This demands immediate consultation of a gynecologist / investigations/ diagnosis & specific management.
Thanks.
