What Causes Clotty Discharge During Spotting?

I passed two tissue like clots yesterday first day after period after spotting brown for four days. The clots were between dime and quarter, followed this morning with a 30-45 second cramp that felt like contraction. What could this be and should I go to ER or wait for doctors appointment?

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
If you are having excessive bleeding means passing clots continously means it is a matter of worry & should report in ER.
However if just passed one or two clot & after that bleeding is normal you can wait till your appointment.
Inbetween get urine pregnancy test done to rule out pregnancy
