What Causes Cloudiness In One Eye Post Cataract Surgery?

I had cataract surgery on both eyes (not at the same time) around 3 years ago. Went with the good distance vision and use +2 cheapies for reading. Both eyes were perfect until a month or so ago when my right eye started to become slightly cloudy. Saw my opthamologist 4 days ago and was told that was pretty normal and there was a simple laser procedure to correct it which I'm having done tomorrow. My question is what is this condition called??

Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having cloudiness of vision following cataract surgery.
This is because of posterior capsule opacification called as after cataract.
This requires treatment by Yag laser capsulotomy. This is a simple procedure and will correct this no need to be worried.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Hope this is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for further questions.

Thank you
With regards
