What Causes Cloudy Urine And Burning Sensation During Urination?

I have been taking an antibiotic for a urinary tract infection + a pill for a burning sensation when I urinate. I also had cloudy urine + foul smelling urine. I have had the foul smelling urine for a year! I had 2 tests last Feb. & March, but both came back normal. I didn t pursue it further until last week when I started having a small stream of urine while I have organ prolapse at the same time. On Estrace for that. I called the Exchange yesterday & my doctor s partner said to stop taking the antibiotics & see my doctor Mon. which is tomorrow. I was on the meds 5 days then had 4 left of the Citifloxidine or something like that. I can givde you the exact spelling if you need that info. Could I possibly have a kidney infection given I went untreated so long. I have had the cloudy urine for a couple of mos.

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having chronic urinary tract infection but it might not seen on report due to antibiotic medicine courses.
This can be due to organ prolapse most likely having Cystocele producing retaining some amount of urine after each urination.
Go for routine, microscopic and culture urine test to know exact causative bacteria and medicine working against it.
After report go for long specific antibiotic medicine course.
Go for treatment of Cystocele as well.
Keep local hygiene proper.
Take plenty of water.
Ok and take care.
