What Causes Cloudy Urine In A Diabetic?

I have had super duper frequent urge to urinate and my urine is light in color and cloudy. I feel a little spasm in my lower abdomen. I have type 2 diabetes controlled by metformin. Highest sugars at 155 and 6.4 AIC. I have been on macrobid and prior to that diflucin because my leukocyte s were literally one point higher than normal. Please advise if I should be worried to go to the hospital or should I be able to wait and go to my doctor next week?

Though not an emergency, I would like you to meet your doctor as soon as possible. I would suggest the following tests in my patient. Urine microscopy, urine albumin concentration, serum creatinine value initially. Depending upon the results, I would decide on the next line of investigation or management.
