What Causes Cold Along With Sneezing, Sore Throat And Cough?

For the past week and half I have had cold like symptoms. Runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, coughing, stuffiness. thought I was getting better and Sat morning woke up nausious. vomiting started later that eve. ran fever and finally broke the next morning. started feeling better other than the cold symptoms won t pass. been drinking lots of clear liquids, upped my vitamins, and continue to take musinex. but don t seem to be getting better. What can I do? no insurance nor the money to go to doctor

Hello,

You can have viral or bacterial respiratory tract infection. If fever with diarrhea is present, then gastrointestinal infection also can be the possibility.

Decongestant like Levocetirizine once a day for five days can be prescribed for congestion relief. Vital Z like powder with water can be taken frequently to maintain electrolyte balance.

For vomiting take ondensteron mouth dissolving tablet. If no improvement than stool routine micro examination, ASO titre can be done for further work up. Consult your physician for further examination.
