What Causes Cold And Cough Frequently?

Dear sir, i dont know i m allergic or nor but this cold & cough problem is killing me. I suffer from cold & cough literally for the whole year, i m frustrated now. I have a high level of eosinophils but i m taking medicine for this even though problem persist. please suggest!

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of cough and cold which seems to be due to chronic upper respiratory tract infection due to poor or compromised immunity of body. Need not to worry. I would suggest you start taking diet rich in vitamin C. Avoid intake of outside food and cold carbonated beverages. You should do warm saline gargles on daily basis. Visit pulmonologist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper examination. You should go for X-ray chest and pulmonary function tests as well and start treatment accordingly. You should drink plenty of fluids. Take multivitamins. You should take proper course of antibiotic Amoxicillin along with antiinflammatory medication Sinarest.
