Morning, I have been taking metformin for over a year but recently I feel worse when I take then particularly very cold shaky, really don t feel well. Should I stop taking them and seek medical advise? My sugar is under control most of the time. I also take eltroxin 100 and ativan and cipralex twice a day. Thanks Anne

Hi dear
This may either indicate hypoglycemia from metformin or hypothyroidism.
Kindly do a blood sugar test while symptomatic. Also do TSH assay.
Discuss with your doctor with these reports.
Take care.Thank you.
