What Causes Cold Feeling And Then Perspiration With Joint Pain And Headache?

Last Friday morning I had a period of feeling really cold from the inside and this led to me shaking and shivering and them perspiring alot. I had aching joints and a really bad headache .This lasted for approximately 5 hours and the next day I was very tired and could not be bothered to even get out of bed, felt very ill. I first had these attached in 1978/79. As no dr has seen me in this condition they say they do not know what it is?
